There was a time I remember so well
When we walked Hand in Hand by the old wishing well
Lost in the Romance with our lives on the line
Spirits are Dancing in 3/4 Time
Out past the Moon, where the Sun never shines
We are both swept Away in a tunnel of light
Candles are burning with warm firelight
My heart is yearning, won't you stay tonight?

A Pot of Gold lies at the end of the Rainbow
See how she flies now, wherever She goes
Will o’ the Wisp and The Wind in the Willows
A soft, gentle kiss and the Name of the Rose
Look at the river and see where she goes
It flows from California down to Mexico
With carbonite, perlite, all set to explode
We'll say Goodnight by the side of the Road

A warning to anyone who gets in our way
We've cleaned all our Guns, and they're hidden away
We've been on the Run long before Yesterday
And all that we've done to make our Getaway
Under the Gun in 101 ways
Run from the Sun at the End of the Day
They always keep saying that Love finds a way
I don't know what Love is, it should all go away

The way that you looked at me swept me away
And all of my Colors came back from the Gray
I cannot Believe the state I was in
Casting my Dreams out upon the 4 Winds
That was the time that they came back again
