Evil & Wise
Words by Douglas Heyes Jr.

EVIL & WISE

Evil and Wise, I'm evil and wise
I can disappear right before your eyes
I can make the rain fall right down from the sky
I can break a stone wall or teach you how to fly
I turn summer into fall, I don't even have to try
When I cast an ancient curse, the words come in reverse
Don't be surprised by what you see
Cuz you’re evil and wise like me

Black magic or white magic, it doesn't matter much to me
I control a legion of other entities
I now have the power to do anything I please
My name echoes silently in the wind and through the trees
The thunder underground puts me down onto my knees
I'm wandering around like a feather in the breeze
I promise to challenge you, whatever you believe
If you cannot handle it, it's time for you to leave

There's a place down by the Riverside
A gateway to the other side
But you will never take that ride
Unless you're truly evil and wise
The Spirit’s talking straight to you
Another wisdom coming through
Your arrows must fly straight and true
No matter what they do to you

Let your light come shining through
Delight in almost all you do
I can see through your disguise
Come with me, I'm Evil and Wise
I see the fire inside your eyes
My heart's desire, I don't know why
No more long and sad goodbyes
Because we're wicked, Evil and Wise
