Time to leave it all behind
We’ll come round another time
Put it all down on the line
There's a mirror on the wall
Down a long and empty Hall
Since the time after the fall
There is nothing there at all

There is no reflection
And no time to reminisce
Like a wind with no direction
Was there something that I missed?
When I looked into your eyes
The first time that we kissed?
I'll make it through another night
God, another night like this

I almost never think of you
I turn away each time I do
I guess the day is long enough
I'll try to stay strong enough
But, when the rains do come again
And the pain’s my only friend
My heart is full of sorrow
When I think about tomorrow

The Sun’s so bright, it makes me blind
Sometimes, the world is so unkind
So cold and tight between the lines
If I knew where you were now
I'd reach out to you somehow
This has been the longest night
Wishing you were by my side

Should you ever come this way

But, at the ending of the day
When the shadows come to stay
I'm alone again today
And the thought of life without you
Is a thousand miles away
It’s just more than I can do

The thought of you not there
Is much more than I can bear
Did our love just disappear

Now, the days just go away
Is it today or yesterday?
