When the Sun Comes Out Again Words by Douglas Heyes Jr. WHEN THE SUN COMES OUT AGAIN No one should ever have to know Or feel the way I feel The things I keep way down below Have gotten way too real I'm a ghost from late at night When the Sun is burning bright And Time is not a line But a circle in a wheel I used to have a smile I could turn on like a light To shine into the darkness In the middle of the night I try to keep believin’ As the Sunshine turn to rain But I ain't breakin’ even At the ending of the game When will the Sun come out again? When will this long, cold Winter end? What is that empty shadow Where there used to be a friend? Now that they're all gone away Tomorrow, same as yesterday Is it the beginning of the end When will the Sun come out again? I remember everything These eyes have ever seen Like faded watercolors At the edges of a dream I think sometime I crossed a line Where it all just fades away The Sunrise is still in my eyes As the skies are turning gray I guess I will just carry on Until, again, I see the Dawn Singin’ songs by the River with my new Best Friend When The Sun Comes Out Again *********
