All the Little Kids are out a-Playin’ in the Sprinklers
Out behind the Barn we got a couple little Tinklers
Dancin’ to the Rock ‘n Roll from a pair of Woofer Speakers
Kids off Playing’ Hide ‘n Seek, while they're Kickin’ off their Sneakers
Come on, Halloween, we'll be Shakin’ what you're Breakin’
Will be Takin’ what you're Makin’
While the Moon turns to Green Cheese
A little bit of Stoop Tag, and you're Safe down on your Knees

All the other Kiddos say they really Aim to Please
Will be Flying Dragon Kites with the Wind up in the Trees
I can Climb a Tree real good, anything made out of Wood
I'm feeling Great and Looking Good, so come on out to my Neighborhood

If you feel Sad or Lonely, then we're go make some food
Brighten up your Sunday, and get a whole new attitude
Pastor Brown is preaching, everybody's in the mood
So we run off together without trying to be rude
It's easy for our attitudes to get misunderstood
You got to give us latitude when we're trying to do some good
My father is a Shepherd for this entire latitude
One thing he will tell you, when you're underneath the Moon

So, stop and drop and pop and lock it
Fire that rocket in your pocket

Don't forget your backpack and your boy scout leather wallet
Bring along a pocket knife, you might have to unlock it
Be careful when you plug stuff in, don't put your finger in the socket

It will make your hair stand up, and fling you cross the room
You're going to be okay maybe tomorrow around noon
But you're going to miss the party out in the parking lot
